Global Heat is an independent outdoor music gathering shaped by the people who come together on the dance floor. As the festival grows, so does our understanding of what “global” means. It is not a checklist of genres or places, but a living exchange of sound, culture, and influence that continues to evolve through shared experience.

The music moves through global club and bass rooted sounds. What connects it all is rhythm, movement, and the space it creates between us. This festival exists to hold those moments and let them unfold naturally.

Global Heat is built with care for the dance floor, the land, and one another. We ask everyone who joins us to arrive with awareness, respect boundaries, and help create a space where people feel safe to move freely and be present.

This is an off grid, camping based gathering held in the mountains near Ymir, British Columbia. Come prepared, self sufficient, and ready to share in something collective. Hosted at Mountain Quills, Global Heat takes place on a site that’s surrounded by forest and open mountain space.

This year, we’re expanding what’s possible within that space. More art, more community, more areas to rest and connect, and more room for the experience to breathe. Thoughtful additions that support longer days, deeper listening, and a stronger sense of arrival.
