a dream, sought through community in motion.
Global Heat was born in 2024 from a simple spark: the love of global inspired sounds and the desire to share them. Something we yearned for. So we created.
What began as a one night event, has evolved into a something bigger. The energy was undeniable and the people who showed up fell in love right alongside us. That night planted the seed for something bigger. A guest, now a close friend, offered their land to us which opened the door for Global Heat to grow in ways we had only dreamed about.
From there we poured our hearts, minds, and bodies into developing raw land into a space where Global Heat could truly come alive. All from our own resource. In 2025 that dream expanded into a full scale gathering built by community for community.
… At its core Global Heat is about more than just events. It is about creating space to dance, connect, and heal through global club sounds and world inspired music. We are DJs. We are curators. We are music lovers who believe sound is medicine and this is what we will always do.
Our Ethos
Global Heat is an Indigenous-led festival built on music, community, and care. We exist to create spaces that are safe, inclusive, and empowering for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other underrepresented communities. We recognize the colonial structures that shape the world and the festival industry, and we actively work to learn, educate, and create meaningful change. Music is our medicine, our inspiration, and our connective tissue — and we honor the Black community and all marginalized voices whose creativity and struggle have shaped the sounds we celebrate today. At Global Heat, we believe in amplifying voices, celebrating diversity, and cultivating spaces where everyone belongs.
Our mission
Our mission is to build transformative experiences that center community, equity, and cultural respect. We create platforms for underrepresented artists, DJs, and facilitators, and curate sound, art, and workshops that inspire growth and connection. Global Heat is about learning, celebrating, and taking action — to not just entertain, but to model what inclusion, respect, and equality can look like in the festival industry and beyond.
This project has become close to the hearts of many. As we grow, we are building from the ground up, gathering the limited resources we have to bring this dream to life.
